Lance Lee

Director of Community Impact, TeamSnap

National Leadership Council

Lance is the Director of Community Impact at TeamSnap. In this role, his primary focus is on increasing access to sport in underserved communities. Although relatively new to this role, making an impact in communities is what Lance has done throughout his career. As a nonprofit executive, he has served as President and CEO of a nationally recognized Sports Based Youth Development Organization, Legacy Youth Tennis and Education (formerly Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education), worked for the United States Tennis Association as Executive Director of the Southern California Section (served as a member of the USTA Foundation Board), and more recently served as an Executive Director with the Greater Philadelphia YMCA.  In each of these role’s sport was always at the center of the position, however; Lance made sure that promoting community integration and upliftment was as integral a part of the role as was sport.

Lance was a collegiate athlete who earned a full tennis scholarship to Hampton University. He went on to earn his juris doctorate degree at the University of the District of Columbia. Although an injury ended his competitive career, Lance remained a coach at heart. One of the things he remains most proud of is that dozens of his former students have gone on to earn scholarships and become productive citizens.

Lance resides in Southern New Jersey just outside of Philadelphia with his wife and three children. He’s traded in his tennis rackets for golf clubs and spends any free time he can on the golf course.
